I am restoring my iPod Nano to its facory settings. I have had the status screen on my computer for over 2 hours saying "restoring my iPod" . Does it usually take this long to restore an iPod? I only had 18 songs on it and nothing else.
The apple website says it is critical I do not disconnect the iPod during this process. But I%26#39;m seriously considering ending the cycle and trying something else.
This all started when I tried deleting songs from iTunes and my iPod, but they would not come off the iPod. You would think deleting songs from an iPod was easy.. apparently not for me. Help!

ya, its frozen. it doesnt delete any songs when you restore it, it just makes all the settings difereent
