Answers:
Your ipod will sync with the itunes on the new laptop when connected. It should%26#39;ve asked you if you want to associate your ipod with the new computer now. If for some reason it didn%26#39;t, whatever was on itunes on the new laptop will also be on your ipod. So if there was nothing on the itunes, then nothing would transfer over to your ipod.
You%26#39;ll have to enter transfer the songs/video from the original computer to the new laptop, Authorize the new laptop to play the content and then you can sync properly. As a suggestion, I would only sync from one computer. Managing the music from two different computers can be tiresome.
To authorize, just copy the songs to the new computer and play them in itunes. You will automaticall get a pop-up that states something along the lines "You must authorize this computer to play this song." It will then show the Username of the person who bought the song. All you need to do is put in the password. Reconnect the iPod to the computer where you downloaded the songs %26 show, and load them back onto the iPod. Make sure you have Manage Music Manually selected, as it sounds like your iPod is automatically syncing, which wipes everything off it and starts again. Then when you connect to the laptop choose Transfer Purchases from iPod from the File menu and those songs %26 show will be in your laptop iTunes library. First though, you%26#39;ll have to Authorise Computer on the Store menu.
