I have figured out how to rip and import music from my cd to audacity, and I have 3 tracks on the screen now. My problem is that I want them to play one right after the other...not at the same time.
How do I get the tracks to become one long track rather than 3 seperate tracks?
Thanks in advance!!
Answers:
What I just did was what you have so far, which is all three tracks stacked on top of each other, presumably with both layers present (giving you six columns).
From there, highlight the second song, copy, and paste it at the end of the first track.
Delete that track all together with the %26#39;x%26#39; on the left side of the screen.
DO the same for the third song at the end of the other 2 songs in the first tracks line. Simply cut the track u want and paste at end of first song and so on You can right click track drag and drop it there or right click track and copy and past it there. you can import them all into your audacity project. now that you have 3 tracks in your project, just click on the button that looks like an arrow pointing left and right. you can now just drag the tracks where you want them.
