Best buy, Target, or Circuit City! The best place is to buy it ONLINE at ipod.com because it comes straight from Apple, where you don%26#39;t have to worry about it being broken or whatever. Plus, at ipod.com you can customize it (like get your name/nickname printed on the back), and you can get special edition iPods...like me, I bought the (RED) iPod -- you can only get that online.

The only bad thing about buying from online is that you have to wait longer and it can be more expensive but just as good. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, any electronics store, free shipping, well almost free, minus the gas.

If you buy direct from Apple.com, they give you free shipping. So you might want to try there if you are willing to pay full price. The benefit of buying it from here is that you can get free laser engraving, the warranty will be fresh, and there are a number of other benefits.

Some are on eBay that are completely new, unopened iPods. Try your luck there, I got mine there for $80 cheaper. Just type in on eBay, 30GB iPod. With or without color preference.

yea try it! its 11 dollars cheaper too! go to an apple store or the apple website. they give student and educator discounts on all apple branded products. discount varies by product.
