I need help I have just got my new ipod and I can%26#39;t switch it on anywhere

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. turning on an ipod just requires you to push the play button. if that doesnt work check the switch on the top, make sure it isnt on hold. if that still doesnt work then plug it in to make sure it has a charge. resetting it might help (hold down the center circle button and the menu button at the same time) but not if the batterys dead. make sure the HOLD button isn%26#39;t on (you will see orange if it is). Then push the MENU button on the wheel. It should trun on then. make sure the battery is charged
