Are people aware that you cant buy batterys at retail stores for their IPODs?

All of the big IPODs have batterys that are only removeable buy the factory. JUST LIKE THE IPHONE!!!

Answers:

just like any product, you must researh it before buying.

If they don%26#39;t know, then it is their own fault (unless the product is faulty) They should be aware of that fact. But in the 3+ years I%26#39;ve had my iPod, I haven%26#39;t needed to get to the battery anyway. Nope, you can replace the ipod battery yourself. You just have to know what you%26#39;re doing. And where to get an ipod battery. That%26#39;s not exactly true. The iPod (except for a very select few) have plug in batteries that you can replace yourself.

www.RapidRepair offers batteries for all models and generations of iPods at a low price. They also have a Lifetime battery program that you can buy into where when your battery dies for good, you can get a nother installed at no charge. you can choose to do the replacement yourself or have it professionally installed (the professional installation is highly advised for the ones where the battery is soldered to the main logic board).
