So, I%26#39;m 14 and I haven%26#39;t gotten an ipod yet. I usually just buy the CD and pop it in the "old school" mp3 player.the portable CD player. My parents think an ipod is too expensive, and with the money issues we%26#39;re having right now, I can understand that. Anyway, I also haven%26#39;t gotten one since I hate fads. I have a few friends who are in the same situation I%26#39;m in. Is a portable CD player really that bad? Also, if I did get an ipod somehow, aren%26#39;t the songs expensive? The other thing I kinda thought was a bummer is that when you buy the CD, you get all the pics and lyrics and stuff; stuff you don%26#39;t get on an ipod. Please give me advice on whether I should really invest in an ipod. Thanks!

Don%26#39;t worry about what anyone else thinks. Use your CD player proudly! Just think, no one will want to steal it like they would your ipod. Rise above the pressure of the trend! ipods suck
get a creative
and you dont have to pay for the songs
download them from limewire and put them on from their
you can still buy cds..and put the songs on your mp3
cds are cool cause they come with everything stuff to look at and all I say if it makes you happy stick with it. It is always better to be yourself than follow the trends. And besides all the cool stuff that you get with a CD you also get to listen to the CD as it was meant to be heard. Even if you have every song by a perticular artist on your ipod, you will never listen to an album all the way throug hin the order it was produced. Some CD%26#39;s just have a really good flow to them and will allow you to discover songs that those with an ipod might never hear. I don%26#39;t have an ipod either, i still use my cd player. I love it actually. You could get an ipod, but Generic mp3 player are good too. You don%26#39;t have to buy songs. Most computers have a music program, like Jukebox. If not you can download itunes from the apple website for free. then just upload your cd%26#39;s onto the computer through the itunes program. Basically open the program put in the CD and hit a button. Then you can just drag the files onto the file for the mp3 player. And yeah, CD player are old school. I think that CD players are ok it just depends on the type you have ... but if you want to upgrade and money is a problem just get the next best thing which is a MP3 player you can get them for any price between $30-$10 their great I would wait awhile, since the cost of everything goes down in time. Also yes the songs can be expensive, anywhere from .99 a song to $2.99 a song.
No a portabe CD player is not old school, and for the cost of a cd you get alot of info on the artist.
