I have tried 3 different iPOD FM transmitters wiht varying results - however, all of them were static infused with weak signals. A matter of inches was enough to cause static - are there any manufacturers that claim strong signal?

Have you tried any headphone jack model ones by big companies like Bose, Phillips, etc? The ones made for iPod to my experience seem to be inferior to headphone jack ones.
