Why dose songs on mp3 players sound way better then on an ipod?

i mean it like it has no bass on an ipod but my mp3 player is just some cheap 35 one but it got some good sound my ipod suck in the sound department. and i set it have bass but no go

but why is that? you have to blast it to here a song with good bass. but my mp3 is like not all loud and i enjoy it better?

try adjusting the equalizer settings on our iPod to something like hip-hop or rock and that should increase the bass for you MP3 is the best! IPods suck! lol, my opinion.
