i plug it in to charge and then it shows a battery with an exclamation point and then it turns off and doesnt turn on again.

hold down the center button and the menu button at the same time for about 8 seconds and the apple appears on the screen. it should work after that, but if it doesn%26#39;t, let the battery die and recharge it. that usually works with mine. i hope i helped.
